Aspiring Fashion Designer and Merchandiser

About Me

I am a senior at Washington State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textiles, and Design, with a lifelong passion for creating and innovating in fashion. I received my first sewing machine at seven years old, and from that moment, designing and making garments became my language. That early passion has guided every step of my journey, shaping the designer and merchandiser I am today.

For me, fashion is more than fabric and thread, it’s storytelling. It’s the ability to merge creativity with functionality, capture culture, and transform ideas into garments that carry meaning. This philosophy shapes every project I take on, from constructing tailored pieces and experimenting with sustainable materials, to curating collections inspired by global trends.

My journey has been both hands-on and global. Studying European fashion in Florence, Italy, and collaborating with Liberty London Fabrics gave me invaluable perspective on design and craftsmanship. Coupled with industry experience in retail and merchandising, I’ve built a foundation that bridges creativity, commerce, and technical skill. I thrive in spaces where I can apply what I know, explore new perspectives, and continually push boundaries.

Fashion has been my companion since childhood, but it’s my drive to evolve, experiment, and grow that fuels everything I do. Every stitch, every sketch, and every garment is an opportunity to tell a story, one that reflects both who I am and who I aspire to be.
